Categorization of Customs Brokers - Customs Department carries out the selection process of well-versed and experienced customs broker in the execution of Customs formalities in compliance with the official regulations by classifying them into good-grade and special grade customs brokers. These customs brokers are allowed to take their customer's imported or exported goods out of customs custody without having to go through the procedure of tariff and value verification at the time of import and export. They are also entitled to have their goods open for inspection by half of normal opening rate.
